A trip to Helsinki
Because Tallinn is so near to Helsinki, it is very hard to make one explanation why I do not go. So I went there for a day.
There are three cruises from Tallinn to Helsinki. I picked Viking line as go trip and Eckerö line as return trip. They both are around 20 euros, eckerö line is a bit cheaper. Viking line stopped at the Helsinki city center, while Eckerö line stopped at the West Harbour. Before the trip, I bought a 24-hour public transport ticket for Helsinki, which is 10 euros. It is valid for all public transport in Helsinki, including metro, trams, buses.
To be honest, I did not find the buildings in Helsinki are much different from northeast China. I went to the red church, the white church and the market square. I sketched Havic Amenda sculpture in the market square, my phone did not get a signal because I did not turned on the rouming function in my service.
In Helsinki, there are many Chinese restaurants, I went to one Thai food restaurant in Kampin, and eat some crispy pork. Sadly pork in Europe are lean meat, crispy pork need some fat to be crispy. There is a MUJI and Lidl in Kampin. I went there to see the prices, they are quite higher than in Estonia.
I like the subway in Helsinki, I traved from the train station to kampin. No ticket check, no security check, I just walked and sit on the train. Then I went to the library, Oodi. Three floors, the second floor you can borrow not only books, but also instruments, games, and even a 3D printer. The third floor is a cafe, there are two robots collecting books.
After the library tour, I went to hietaranta to swim in the sea to enjoy the sunlight. In the afternoon, I went to Tyynenmerentori to see some electric gadgets. On the way, I passed by the supercell building, the company that made the Clash of Clans game. In front of the building, there is a malware museum, sadly, it is not open on Sunday.
